Short drama actors, across every app

If you liked someone in a vertical series, finding the rest of their work is unreasonably hard. Every app publishes a filmography for its own platform and nobody publishes one across platforms — so an actor working on four apps has their catalogue split four ways, and IMDb barely covers vertical work at all.

These pages are our attempt at the missing version: what each performer has been in, which app it is on, and which series is the right one to start with. Every claim is sourced and stamped with the date we last checked it.

Why nobody has the full picture

Vertical series are mostly shot as standalone productions rather than under exclusive contracts, so the same performer turns up on competing apps within the same year. Noah Fearnley alone has work on ReelShort, DramaWave, iDrama and ShotShorts.

Each of those platforms has a commercial interest in showing you only its own catalogue. That is a reasonable thing for them to do and a bad outcome for anyone trying to follow an actor, which is the gap these pages exist to close.

Worth saying plainly: DramaSip is a short drama app, so the platforms named on these pages are competitors of ours. The credits here come from those platforms' own catalogues and from independent sources, both linked on each page. We have no commercial reason to describe anyone else's catalogue inaccurately, and every reason not to.

Short drama actors: questions

Who are the biggest short drama actors?
The format has no star system in the conventional sense — its recognisable faces are working actors who carry dozens of series each, often across several competing apps. Noah Fearnley, Marc Herrmann, Jackson Tiller, Jared Staub and Haley Lohrli are among the most-cast on the English-language platforms.
Why can't I find a short drama actor's full filmography?
Because each app only publishes its own. ReelShort's actor pages list ReelShort series, DramaBox's list DramaBox series, and IMDb's coverage of vertical work is thin or missing entirely. An actor working across four apps has their filmography split four ways.
Do short drama actors work on more than one app?
Many do. Vertical series are typically shot as one-off productions rather than under exclusive contracts, so the same performer regularly appears on ReelShort, DramaBox, DramaWave and smaller platforms in the same year.
Are short drama actors professional actors?
Yes, though they arrive by different routes. Some built their entire career inside the format; others, like Marc Herrmann, had a decade of conventional television credits before vertical drama existed.
