Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel in the store you bought from. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DramaSip → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DramaSip → Cancel. You keep Premium until the period you've paid for ends.
I was charged after cancelling. What now?
Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period. If you believe you were charged in error, request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google Play, then email us and we'll follow up.
Video won't play or keeps buffering.
Try these in order: switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, force-quit and reopen the app, check for an app update, then restart your device. If it persists, email us with your device model, OS version and the series name.
I lost my watch progress.
Progress syncs to your account, not your device. Make sure you're signed in with the same method you originally used — Apple, Google or email. If you signed up with Apple's Hide My Email, use that relay address to sign back in.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Sign in with the same store account, open DramaSip, go to Profile → Settings → Restore purchases. Entitlements are tied to your App Store or Google Play account.
How do I turn off notifications?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Notifications. Or at the OS level in your device settings. You can keep new-episode alerts on while turning marketing messages off.
How do I report a bug or suggest a series?
Email support@dramasip.com. We read everything, and early access members' suggestions go straight into our commissioning shortlist.
Is DramaSip available in my country?
DramaSip launches in English-speaking markets first, with more languages and regions to follow. Join the early access list and we'll tell you the moment we open in yours.
What is a short drama app?
A short drama app streams serialised fiction shot vertically for phones. Each episode runs about a minute, a full series is 40 to 80 episodes, and you swipe from one to the next the way you would through a social feed. The format is also called microdrama, vertical drama or mini drama. DramaSip is one of these apps, built around complete stories you can finish in a sitting.
How long is a DramaSip episode?
Most episodes run 60 to 120 seconds. A whole series adds up to roughly the length of a feature film, but it is cut into beats you can watch in a queue, on a commute or between meetings.
Is DramaSip free?
Yes, you can start free. Every series opens with free episodes, and you earn daily unlocks just for showing up. DramaSip Premium removes ads and unlocks the full catalogue if you want to binge without limits — we'll announce what it costs closer to launch.
When is DramaSip launching?
DramaSip is launching on iOS and Android in Fall 2026. Join the early access list and we will send you an invite the day it opens, along with founding-viewer perks.
Do DramaSip series have real endings?
Every series is produced and released complete. There are no seasons left hanging on a renewal decision — when you start a story on DramaSip, the ending already exists.
Can I watch DramaSip on a TV or a computer?
DramaSip is built vertical-first for phones, which is where the format works best. Casting and a web player are on the roadmap after launch — early access members get to vote on what we build next.
How is this different from TikTok or Reels?
Social feeds serve you unrelated clips from strangers. DramaSip serves you one continuous story with a cast, a script and an ending. The swipe feels familiar; what you are swiping through is a scripted series.
