Child Safety Standards

Our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation, and the channels for reporting it.

DramaSip Media Ltd. has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”). This page sets out our standards, our age requirements and how to report a concern. It is published to meet the requirements of Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's App Review Guidelines.

1. Prohibited conduct and content

The following are strictly prohibited on DramaSip and result in immediate action:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and any content that sexualises a minor, including drawn, animated or AI-generated depictions;
  • grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to solicit sexual content, contact or a meeting with a minor;
  • trafficking of minors, or advertising a minor for sexual purposes;
  • normalising, glorifying or providing instruction for the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors;
  • sharing or linking to CSAM hosted anywhere else.

Our own productions never cast minors in sexualised roles. All performers in intimate or mature-rated scenes are verified to be 18 or older before production begins, and records of that verification are retained.

2. Age requirements

  • The minimum age to use DramaSip is 13, or 16 in the EEA and UK, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher.
  • Content rated 18+ is gated behind age verification and is not shown in browse surfaces to accounts that have not passed it.
  • The app is submitted to the app stores with an age rating that reflects the highest-rated content in the catalogue.
  • If we learn an account belongs to someone under the minimum age, we terminate it and delete the associated data.

3. How to report

In the app: use the ⋯ menu on any episode, comment or profile and choose “Report → Child safety”. These reports are prioritised above all others.

By email: support@dramasip.com with “CHILD SAFETY” in the subject line. This inbox is monitored daily.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report directly to:

  • United States — NCMEC CyberTipline, report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678
  • United Kingdom — Internet Watch Foundation, iwf.org.uk
  • European Union — INHOPE member hotline, inhope.org

4. What we do with a report

  1. Child safety reports are triaged within 24 hours, every day of the year.
  2. Confirmed CSAE content is removed and preserved as required by law.
  3. The account is permanently terminated, and we act to prevent the user re-registering.
  4. We report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC and, where required, to law enforcement in the relevant jurisdiction, and we cooperate fully with any resulting investigation.
  5. We notify the reporter of the outcome where it is appropriate and lawful to do so.

5. Child safety point of contact

6. Legal compliance

We comply with applicable child protection law in the markets we operate in, including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A reporting obligations in the United States, the UK Online Safety Act, and the EU Digital Services Act. We review these standards at least annually.
