DramaSip Media Ltd. respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. We respond to valid notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent laws elsewhere, including the EU Copyright Directive and the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act.
1. Designated agent
Send notices to our designated copyright agent:
Copyright Agent, DramaSip Media Ltd.
1 Example Street, Dublin, D01 XXXX, Ireland
copyright@dramasip.com
2. Sending a takedown notice
To be effective, your notice must be in writing and include all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed — or, for multiple works, a representative list.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it: the series title, episode number, and a URL or screenshot.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
Incomplete notices delay processing. We aim to acknowledge valid notices within two business days and to act on them promptly.
3. A warning about false claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please make sure the use is not fair use, fair dealing, licensed, or otherwise permitted before you file.
4. Filing a counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the address above containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address — or, if outside the United States, of any district in which we may be found — and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.
We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, we may restore the material.
5. Repeat infringers
We maintain and enforce a repeat infringer policy. Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid takedown notices are terminated, and we take reasonable steps to prevent the same user re-registering.
6. Our own content
Most content on DramaSip is produced or licensed by us. If you have found DramaSip series being redistributed elsewhere without authorisation, please tell us at copyright@dramasip.com — we will pursue it.
7. Trademark and likeness
For trademark complaints, or if you believe your name, image or voice has been used without permission, email legal@dramasip.com with details of your right and the specific material at issue.
