Cookie Policy

The short version: the website runs on essential cookies, and nothing tracks you across the web without your say-so.

Last updated August 15, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, SDK identifiers — do comparable jobs. This policy covers all of them, plus the mobile advertising identifiers used inside the DramaSip app.

2. Cookies on https://dramasip.com

TypeWhat it doesConsent needed?
Strictly necessarySecurity, load balancing, remembering your cookie choice, and rate-limiting the waitlist form against abuse. No — the site cannot work without them
AnalyticsAggregate page-view counts and referring sources, so we know which articles are worth writing more of. Configured without cross-site tracking.Yes, where local law requires it
MarketingMeasuring whether an ad campaign led to an install. Only set after you consent.Yes

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of website visitors, and we do not embed third-party social widgets that would set cookies on our behalf.

3. Identifiers in the app

  • Device and install identifiers — used to keep you signed in, sync your watch progress, and honour your subscription entitlement. Essential to the service.
  • IDFA (iOS) — only accessed if you allow tracking when the App Tracking Transparency prompt appears. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Advertising ID (Android) — used for attribution and, with consent, for personalised ads. You can reset or delete it in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  • Crash and performance SDKs — collect diagnostic data tied to a random install identifier, not to your email address.

4. How to control them

  • On our website — use the cookie banner to accept or reject non-essential categories, and change your mind at any time from the same control.
  • In your browser — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.
  • In the app — see the OS-level controls listed above, plus the privacy section of your DramaSip profile.

5. Global Privacy Control

We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends GPC, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not set marketing cookies.
